Our house, which is 700 years old, was in its early years the Diligence (Post) Stop of Besse en Chandesse.
in the summer as well in the winter our house can be used as your base for of all kinds of day trips.

only a few thousand years old with the approximately 66 volcanoes is, geologically, a very young field.

Now the latest municipality in the Saint Besse Anastaise, but on different maps and in the vernacular, the town still known as Besse and Chandesse. Small narrow streets, houses of dark lava rock but brightened by red geraniums on the walls, the fortifications and the old medieval church give this town a picturesque appearance. The butchers, bakers little, the village square with its restaurants, cafes and terraces, each Monday the market that winds through the streets, the delicious cheeses, books and newspapers, all kinds of souvenirs but also the newest fashion and an Internet café, and Besse Chandesse has it all !
