Great home from home, we felt most welcome

We stayed at La Cala August 2011 and had a fantastic time. The accomodation has all you could need including a selection of children's toys and beach chairs on the balcony. Bathroom towels etc are all provided and the kitchen area was well equipped.
The apartments are a short walk from the beach and bar areas and there are several supermarkets nearby. The beach has a beautiful cove and is suitable for all. The restaurants and bars on the front offer a good range of choice and value to suit all pockets. If you want to go into Benidorm it is a short trip and the bus costs 1.40 euro each way. The bus runs well into the night, although the latest we used it was midnight. We thought the location, standards and cost of the apartment were excellent and would recommend it to any family. We stayed in this flat in September this year.We had a great holiday. The flat was very clean and well equipped. It was very close to the beach and local amenities. The buses ran regularly from outside the complex into Benidorm.For anyone not wanting to go the beach there was a large pool in the complex which was in a beautiful garden that was maintained to a very high standard. Lovely, quiet, relaxing holiday, but for those wanting a more lively time, just a short bus route to Benidorm and it's old town.

Stayed at the apartment in September. We found the apartment to be well equipped and comfortable. The pool is fantastic, clean and well maintained. La Cala is a lovely place with a pleasant beach. The ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday!

Had a great holiday.Apartment was first class. Well located,excellent pool. Lovely sandy beach and a good choice of bars and restaurants, both English and Spanish, offering value for money.

Me and my family have just had 10 days here from 4 to 13 Apr 12. Nice appartment, everything you need, washing machine, microwave, no oven only a hob, all kitchen utensils supplied along with towels and bedding. A well gated complex, very clean, lovely gardens and georgeous pool, just a bit too cold for a dip this time of year. Very quiet in April, bus stops right outside the complex along with a bank and cashpoint, bars and takeaways and small supermarket. La Cala Bay is lovely with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from and only a 40 min walk over to the beach in Benidorm, which is beautiful and there it all is for you depending on how far you want to walk. Cathy the owner of the appartment is great to deal with when making your booking, she arranged the transfers for us and will find flights if you wish. She has a lady called Pat who lives in the complex who met us off the shuttle bus and showed us to the appartment and filled us in with everything. Nice to have someone there for any emergencies. The only negative in this appartment is the sofa bed in the room you would be struggling to sleep 2 adults in this, ok for small kids but not teenagers or adults. I spoke to Cathy about this and she is looking into this, maybe putting an extra pull out bed in there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Cala Bay and Benidorm you have both the peace and quiet and then the full on entertainment in Beni. Would definitely stay again and would certainly recommend this place.
