Review written by Patrick (Montreal, Canada) the 03/20/2010 for a stay in 2/2010
We stayed at AnimeaSud for two weeks with our two daughters aged 5 at then end of February 2010. Overall the house is great, very nicely renovated with modern touches and a lot of art. The view is extraordinary from the house, the balcony and the terrace upstairs.

Be aware that the house is about halfway up the hillside between Modica Bassa (Corso Umberto) and Modica Alta, so be prepared to explore the stairways and little vicolos. Also, the kitchen/living area is not that large, but that was not a problem for us over a 2 week stay as the other rooms are large enough. A good knife to cut the bread would be useful.

Modica is an interesting city which takes some time to get familiar with. We enjoyed the food a lot in Modica and the surrounding cities. Modica is also centrally located to see all the baroque towns and to access the beaches nearby. Siracusa is also easily reachable and there is a new highway section to get there.

Finally, we found some parts of the house to be humid and the heating to be a little insufficient for the first few days. Once the humidity was gone, the house was comfortable. I guess that in cold winter days, with the altitude (450m or so) it can be a bit chilly.

Three Canadians had the pleasure of renting Luca's apartment in mid-March and we all agree that the accommodations and setting were outstanding. We were cheerfully and graciously greeted by Amelia who even sent her brother Vincenzo around to make sure everything was in order later in our visit. The spectacular views from the patios were matched by the compelling art work of the owner. It was an experience to be savoured. Thanks to all who made it possible.

Review written by M (London, United Kingdom) the 03/17/2010 for a stay in 3/2010
We stayed here with our 10 month old baby for four nights and found it a wonderful location. The apartment was perfect for our needs and modern and fresh looking. The only negative feedback could be that the lesson on how to care for the apartment at the beginning was too onerous and not required so long as there is a manual to consult for everything. Also, in winter it would be extra icing on the cake if the apartment was heated prior to arrival because it takes several hours to heat up.

I have rented this apartment three times and is very pleased with it. It is nice and is perfectly located right next to the Figuertas beach within walking distance of Ibiza town harbor. The terrace overlooking the sea is wonderful both daytime / evening. Veronique the hostess is friendly and helps you with everything from table bookings to club tips. If you rent this apartment you will not be disappointed. I have spent over 8 summer vacations in Ibiza and this is by far the best accommodation I've found. It is very affordable and has a perfect location.

My friends suggested the Hillcrest Guesthouse to me,the raved about it so much to me that I had to stay here. I saw all the pictures they had and even visited the web site but you don't really appreciate it until you get here. The view is beautiful, you can see all of Cruz Bay from the porch. The room was so beautiful, I never wanted to leave it. My favorite part about it was the security, I never had to worry about my things being safe in the room or about my safety. A few years ago I stayed in a (not being named) hotel and the people that worked there were very rude and I didn't feel very safe. When I came back to my room after going out to dinner, a man was laying in front of my door! I had to call security to remove him, it took them an hour before anyone showed up. It really scared me, I will never stay there again.

I can't wait to stay at Hillcrerst again, I want to come back every year. If I could give it more stars I would.

We love to go to Florida because of the beauty of the Bonita Springs/Naples area. We love the abundant sunshine, the tropical beauty of the area, the lovely shopping malls, the great restaurants, and the closeness of the ocean beaches.
We consider the home at 72 First Street our home away from home. This home has very modern decor with lovely bathrooms, bedrooms and a kitchen well equipped with everything we need. We love the dining room, the great flat screen televisions and the spacious lanai with the lounge chairs and eating area. The pool and lanai are wonderful and the landscaped front and back yard are lovely. We especially enjoy the sounds of the birds singing in the adjacent undeveloped property. We have been going to Florida for our vacation for eight years and this is the best place we have stayed in. We will keep going back there for as long as the owners will let us.

We very much enjoyed staying at this beatifully decorated and well equipped town house in the diplomatic quarter of Brussells next to the University.
The rooms are large and well appointed with everything one could want. The bathrooms were really impressive.
We especially liked the coffee machine and the breakfast.

We went to Marrakech and Villa Olives in order to celebrate an important family birthday and had the most lovely time, 8 persons in ages 7 - 74. The house is beautiful with lots of space and elegantly decorated, the garden and swimmingpool perfect for our family life. We were invited to pick fresh oranges from the trees. The children enjoyed also the coq (that would wake us up in the morning) and the tortoise they dicovered one day in the grass. The calm and comfort of the villa and the garden and the welcoming attitude of our host Mohamed was a wonderful contrast to the hectic life in the city of Marrakech where we went by bus - it stopped just outside in the street. We were lucky to have fine weather most of the time. Also inside we could enjoy ourselves in the spacious rooms at our disposition. We cooked meals on the gas stove. The kitchen equipment lacked some of the things we are used to but on the whole we managed very well and enjoyed our meals. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms well equipped as well as elegant.
