This House has been renovated in a simple authentic style to blend in with this historic area of Cesseras. Built in the back of the walls of the chateau of Cesseras, this is an old house with lots of different levels and staircases. This is a detached house of 140 m2, very comfortably equipped for 6 persons, Large living room, kitchen/dining room, built around a sunny terrace with table, chairs and bbq so you can eat out and enjoy this lovely climate, There is a dish washer,washing machine, tv, dvd, Wifi & Internet, for your convenience.
The peace and quiet of the countryside, the garrigue and vineyards surround the village for easy walking and biking (second hand bikes available if you want them. The gorge of the Cesse iver up behind the village meanders down to the medieval village of Minerve, a mythical place and one of the prettiest villages in France. The Canal du Midi 5km and Carcassonne 25km both unesco world heritage sites await you, as does the lovely Roman town of Narbonne 35km. Swimming in lakes, hidden rock pools, and rivers, wild or with life guards for the young ones you can decontract here in the Minervois and recharge you batteries. Be careful, i came once on holiday and am still here 20yrs later.
