This adorable little home belonged to the Hurst family for 60 years. It's hard to believe that three boys were raised in this 800 sq ft cottage. Mrs. Hurst, widowed soon after our first son was born, enjoyed my 4 children for 20 yrs. At 92, my sweet neighbor sold us the house as she needed assisted living. The cottage is every bit a taste of yesteryear and a time of much simpler days. Mrs. Hurst wore contentment like a garment. We hope you will feel some of that contentment during your stay.

We have raised our four children in this neighborhood over the last 23 years. It's been a little rascals heaven for neighborhood kids and a quiet retirement place for others. It's close to lots of experiences, but feels off the beaten path.
